SMS Terms and Conditions
Golden Gates Security Corp sends two types of text messages. Each type is sent only to people who have opted in to that type.
- Service (non-marketing) messages: appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, technician on-the-way and arrival notifications, installation and service updates, payment reminders, and important account updates.
- Marketing messages: special offers, discounts, and new product updates. These require a separate opt-in.
How customers opt in:
- By phone (service messages only): When you call us, our team asks for your permission before enabling text messages, using this script: “Can we send you text messages about your account? That includes appointment reminders, technician on-the-way and arrival notices, service updates, payment reminders and important account updates. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP anytime to opt out or HELP for help. Is it okay for us to text you at this number?” Texts are enabled only if you say yes, and we record your consent in your customer account. Marketing messages are never enabled by phone.
- Online: Our contact forms at goldengatessecurity.com include two separate, optional, unchecked boxes: one for service (non-marketing) messages and one for marketing messages. You choose each one separately, and you can submit the form without checking either box.
After you opt in, you will receive a confirmation text with opt-out instructions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or call 281-777-0300.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
